Dark green coming soon page template — Forest
Dark green, mint text. Calm, and slightly serious.
Newsletters, quiet projects, anything where urgency would be a lie. This is the only template in the gallery that ships with the countdown switched off, and that is the point of it.
Forest is one of the 6 Pro templates, so there is no .zip for it — that is part of what Pro buys. The demo is open to anyone, and 8 of the 14 templates download for free.
A letter about growing things slowly
One email a month. No launch date, because there is nothing to launch — just writing.
Live render — the countdown is really counting. Open the demo for the full-size page.

Why these three colours
#052E16 is dark enough to read as ink rather than as a colour; the mint text at 13.14:1 keeps it from feeling like a terminal. DM Sans has shorter ascenders than Inter, which makes multi-line paragraphs on a dark background less stripey.
The copy it ships with
No date, no countdown, no scarcity. The subheadline states the frequency ("one email a month") because for a newsletter the only real objection is "how often will you bother me", and answering it in the fold is worth more than any adjective.
All four fields are editable. The demo copy is a starting point, not a placeholder — it is written to be replaced, not shipped.
Contrast, measured
Both numbers are computed from the hex values above using the WCAG 2.1 relative-luminance formula, every time this page renders. Nothing here is typed in by hand.

Passes AAA

1.92:1
Misses AA — below AA
The button label is below the 4.5:1 that AA asks for at 14px. If that matters for your page, paste #047857 into the accent colour field — it stays in the same colour family and takes the button to 5.48:1. We left the shipped palette alone because it is what people already published with, and recolouring it under them would be worse.
The first three things to change
- 1
State your real frequency. If you do not know it, say "when I have something", which is honest and converts better than a promise you break in March.
- 2
Mint on white button text is 1.92:1 — unreadable, the worst pairing here. Use #047857 (5.48:1) or set the button text dark.
- 3
Leave the countdown off. If you switch it on you have picked the wrong template.
