Why these three colours
#0B0F19 is warmer than Ocean's navy and #E5E7EB is a true neutral grey rather than a tinted white, so the page reads as slate. The teal #0E7490 is dark for an accent — 5.36:1 with white button text, which passes AA where Ocean's cyan fails badly — at the cost of 3.57:1 against the background, so the countdown whispers instead of shouting. That trade is the entire template.
The copy it ships with
"Probably in about a quarter" is the most useful sentence on this page. A hedge stated plainly is more credible than a date you will move, and it costs nothing: nobody unsubscribes because you were honest about a roadmap.
All four fields are editable. The demo copy is a starting point, not a placeholder — it is written to be replaced, not shipped.

Both figures clear WCAG AA as shipped. That was a constraint when this palette was picked, not a happy accident — the accent was darkened until the button label passed.
The first three things to change

Commit to the cadence in the subheadline or remove it. A weekly changelog you send twice is a broken promise to exactly the audience least likely to forgive it.

If you want the countdown to pop, brighten the accent to #0891B2 — you gain the glow (5.2:1 against the background) and lose AA on the button label (3.68:1). Your call, and it is a real one.

Point the button URL at your public repo or changelog instead of collecting emails, if that is where the real audience is.
