Why Add a Countdown Timer?
Countdown timers create urgency and anticipation. When visitors see a specific date counting down, they're more likely to sign up for notifications, share the page with others, and return when you launch.
Customizable Countdown Styles
Our countdown timer adapts to your page's color scheme automatically. Choose your accent color and the timer updates in real-time. Works perfectly on mobile devices with responsive sizing.
Prefer to Code It Yourself?
If you'd rather write the timer by hand, we published the full coming soon page in HTML, CSS and JS — a commented, copy-paste countdown snippet that stops cleanly at zero, plus Bootstrap, Tailwind and React versions. All MIT licensed, no account.
When Not to Use One
A countdown is a promise with a clock on it. If your date might move, it will hit zero on an unchanged page in front of exactly the people who signed up, which costs more than the urgency was worth. Three of our 14 coming soon page templates ship with the timer switched off for that reason — Forest, Mono and Slate — and each one has a live demo you can look at before deciding.
